INGLOT AMC EYELINER GEL IN SHADE 76 (WHITE) & 77 (BLACK)- REVIEW & SWATCHES

 I heard about Inglot when I came to Dubai before that I didn’t even knew that such brand even existed also I was hardly into makeup. I randomly went into the store seeking for an eyeliner and the attendant over there suggested me to go for AMC gel eyeliner as it is their best selling product. Here AMC  stands for Advanced Makeup Components. It’s a term by Inglot for their makeup range formulated with the purest and most premium ingredients. After doing a patch test, I bought these beauties with Duraline oil to home. Lets dive straight into the review.

My Experience with this product–

The product comes in a plastic transparent pot disclosing the true color of the product inside with a black lid on the top. The eyeliner gel is protected with silver foil on top of it. As it is the gel formula, it dries up quickly so one need to be aware that it is not exposed to direct fan or air. The shelf life is 9 month but with duraline oil it can go upto 5 years that’s what their attendant said me and was the reason for me to purchase the duraline oil. The product is so compact in size that it is very easy to carry around.

The texture is very creamy, smooth, and velvety. It glides smoothly on eyes and does not have to drag. Consistency is medium thick which is sufficient to get that beautiful wing. The colour payoff is amazing and can be seen in a single swipe and it is buildable depending on the mood. The best part about this eyeliner is once dried it is waterproof, smudge proof and crease proof. The staying power is amazing which has worn my heart. Finally, to remove the eyeliner I used a good eye makeup remover as it takes time to come off from the eyes which is little irritating. I did not notice any kind of irritation to my eyes.

The only thing I did not like about this product is, it dries up quickly. So, if you are drawing a wing make sure to keep pot surface downward so the air does not reach it and make whole jar dry. I tried creating a different eyelook but due to its quick drying nature it did not turned out to be well which was a huge disappointment and had to literally work hard. Not sure how it will work if any artist has to paint a face with this product or do some artistic work.

Overall, I am happy with the product for the quantity and quality they gave for the price charged compared to other product in the market. Only thing to be taken care of the quick drying of the product but if you use Duraline your product will last longer and will help to revive it. Use a good eye makeup remover to remove product from the eyes or else it can be painful. I generally use Garnier Micellar water which helps me to easily remove the eyeliner from the eyelid.
